Peter Taylor

Peter Taylor is a baritone soloist based in Sheffield and Birmingham, England. He is available for a variety of professional engagements in addition to vocal teaching.

Baritone Soloist

Peter trained at Birmingham Conservertoire graduating with a Post-graduate Diploma in Vocal and Operatic Studies. He has performed as a soloist in oratorio across the UK in venues including Birmingham Symphony Hall. Peter is available for oratorio work and recitals. Vocal Coach

With over 10 years' teaching experience Peter has developed a speciality in musical theatre training and still regularly works training classical vocalists; he is singing teacher at Birkdale School and the Milsom School of Music in Sheffield. Peter specialises in promoting an understanding of how the voice works. He is currently available for singing lessons in Sheffield during the day-time on Wednesday to Friday. Choral Conductor

Peter is Musical Director of Hallam Choral Society and Artistic Director of the Sheffield University Singers' Society. He believes the sign of a good choral conductor is the ability to get the most out of amateur singers and Peter's expertise as a voice trainer allow him to do this.
